Né en 1988 à Alamogordo, New Mexico, US
Vit et travaille à Atlanta, Georgia, US
Jonglant avec assurance entre les médiums, et les entremêlant dans sa pratique, elle crée des œuvres d’une sincérité sans faille, dominées par des femmes de couleur, insouciantes, ambiguës d’un point de vue éthique et ethnique. En construisant ses compositions autour de leurs corps courbes, profondément influencés par l’art ancien indigène ainsi que par le travail classique de la Renaissance, elle réinvente en quelque sorte les portraits et la peinture figurative contemporains tout en apportant un nouveau point de vue au format standardisé.
