Biography
Born in 1988 in Athens, Greece
Lives and works in Los Angeles, CA, US
Theo Triantafyllidis constructs virtual and generative spaces, complex systems where the virtual and the physical merge in strange, absurd and poetic ways. These creations often take the form of performances, augmented reality experiences, games and interactive installations. He holds an MFA from UCLA, Design Media Arts, and an architecture degree from the National Technical University of Athens. He has presented his work in numerous museums, including the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the NRW Forum in Düsseldorf and Moca in Seoul. He took part in Sundance New Frontier 2020, the Venice Biennale 2017 hyperpavilion and the Athens Biennale 2018 and 2021.
