Bill Saylor has over the decades offered a striking examination of gestural abstraction melded with a deeply personal set of symbols and motifs. Saylor’s paintings exude a palpable energy and engagement that delve into themes such as natural history, the impact of human activity on the environment, and the complex interplay between organic life and industrial presence.
